My relationship with photography started over 10 years ago when I was growing up next-door to an amazing photographer. Thankfully she was willing to put up with a high school student who would constantly ask SO many questions about cameras, composition, and editing. Through her teaching and mentoring she opened up a way for me to capture the beauty I see in life, nature, and relationships.
As I’ve continued in photography and editing, I’ve recognized that for me it centers around relationships: celebrating them, building them, capturing them. At my core, I’m a relationship person. I love the unique story that each person, each relationship, and each family holds. It’s an honor to know and be part of someone else’s story. I’d love to document and be even a small part of yours!
and I'm so excited you're here!
I've been married to my husband for over 5 years, and I've loved being able to do life with him by my side. A couple years ago, we adopted our fur baby, Crosby, who has truly become a big part of our little family. Together, we love to go on walks with Crosby, watch movies, and taste new wines. We also have a love/hate relationship with home improvement projects. (If you're a homeowner, you probably know what I mean!) When I'm on my own, you can usually find me searching for a new recipe to make for our next meal. I love the creativity of cooking and how sharing a meal can bring people together. If you've got a go-to recipe that you love making over and over again, I'd love to hear it!
